Have I wipe my video? Help!? I have a sony video camera at work which

I have a sony video camera at work which take mini DVD-RWs. I've tried viewing them in my computer and purely got a name from my colleague telling me not to do that as he hasn't finalised them and he's hear doing so could wipe them.

I tried viewing them with Realplayer and nought happened....is it possible I've wipe them?

I'll find out tomorrow when I put them in the camera, but necessitate your reassurance to help me sleep tonight! The footage is pretty much irreplaceable....
Answers:  If the dscs own not been finalized, you would not know how to easily play them, which is why you be not able to prospect anything using RealPlayer. If you ONLY tried to play them, the chances that you dilapidated the discs or video are slim.

There are some DVD video recovery tools - ISOBUster is one - that you should probably consider. HandBrake (for ripping the video from the finalized DVD) is another...

I'd utter you are OK to sleep soundly.
