Answers:  The Samsung SCD372 is just similar to any other miniDV tape base camcorder... it uses the DV port (this is a 4-pin) and connects to the firewire port (not USB) of your computer. If you don't have a firewire port, install one. The port installed on the computer will be most probable 6-pin... but can be 4-pin. It depends what you have or settle on to install. You need firewire400 (Also prearranged as i.Link or IEEE1394a).

The 6-pin to 6-pin firewire cables won't fit you camera - and are typically used for rugged drive-hard drive or computer to hard drive connections.
