Answers:  the e suffix indicates that the camera has be designed for use in the european souk, this means it will shoot within the correct television standard (for Europe at least) which is PAL.

Most other places use NTSC.

Any clothed retailler will sell you the correct specification for the marketplace you are in. If surrounded by doubt, ask them.
