Is it possible to verbs video from a Sony DCR-TRV250 Camcorder to a Mac (OSX 10.3.9) using USB?

Answers:  No.

The Sony DCR-TRV250 is a Digital8 camcorder. You need to use the camera's DV port near a firewire cable. 4-pin (camera) to 6-pin (computer). All Macintoshes (within the last 7-8 years) enjoy a firewire400 (IEEE1394a, i.Link) port... except the new Air.

USB is used ONLY to verbs stills off the memory card or allow the camera to be a web-cam. USB will NOT verbs Digital8 video from the tape.
