Memory card error- repossession possible? I have used matching memory card for a few

I have used matching memory card for a few years now. (SD 512mb by DANE-ELEC) I enjoy filled the memory card several times and erased it and refill it again. I recently took a great deal of pictures yesterday and then it said memory card error and my pictures disappeared. I want to know if every picture that I enjoy ever taken will be recovered if I use a program, or only the ones the I took just this minute. I would prefer to not have adjectives of my pictures recovered from years ago, especially if I'm using this program with my photo professor.
Answers:
Take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. Use a card reader. Here's some freeware photo rescue software that should be what you're looking for. The third one listed let you view thumbnails of the pictures beforehand recovering:

It would be your most recent photos. The problem may be that you enjoy been delete you images, fairly than formatting the card. Fragments of previoius image files and portrait index files could have corrupted your card.

For immediately buy an nice new 2GB card ($14 this weekend) and use it until you can rest the files on your old 512 card.

In the adjectives, format the card using the format feature on the cameras menu. This will re-acquaint yourself with your card, write new record folders and a new logo index file.

This reclamation program works.:
