Can you recommend a appropriate trait, as expected priced digital camera? I currently own a Sony Cyber-shot DSC - T9
I currently own a Sony Cyber-shot DSC - T9 with 6.0 mega pixels and frankly, it isn't as biddable as I wish it would be.
I am moderately a keen photographer and I get the impression my camera isn't capturing descriptions to their full potential. When you zoom in on a picture it is hugely grainy and pixelated. If you could recommend a camera which will produce photos that are markedly sharp that would be excellent. Thank you very much!

The Nikon D40 (and the D40x as well) is a really nice machine. You hold control over just in the region of any aspect of your image. If you are a photographer, I consider it a polite idea to leap up to an SLR at some point. It took me a few years to go up to an ripened used Nikon film SLR, afterwards another two to start sharing a D40x, but I don't know if I'll ever use anything but an SLR again. Film and digital ones are both great.
You manually adjust zoom and focus. As you get more experienced and want to try more controls on your figurine, you can adjust aperture and shutter speed. You can adjust just almost anything you can think of.
The drawback, logically, is the size of the camera. It's not something you pull out of your pocket and shoot beside. However, if you're in a situation where on earth you need a small camera, you can a moment ago pull out the aged Cybershot.
In any case, you're expressing interest surrounded by getting serious about this stuff, so I presume that's a good time to step up if you can.
EDIT: The tough member is determining "reasonably priced." Most cameras are probably priced when you take into picture the features that they have. If you choose to do so, please donate a price range, and the responses will become much more specific and compassionate. Or, let us know which features you entail (or would like to have).
I pretty much stick to Canon's - just bought a powershot 950 -
which is a 12 mg px - I probably could own gone with the 850 (I chew over that was a 9 or 10) but my husband talk me into the lastest (and it was a great price at costco)
My unbroken family have pretty much stuck to Canon because of the reliablity - from SLR (reg & digital) to the Elphs (reg to digital) ... never been disappointed even contained by their customer service.
I hold a canon rebel XTI it's a great camera, you will love it. Can be bought at Costco for below $800.00 Sounds approaching what you're looking for is a camera with a honest OPTICAL zoom. Digital zoom means zilch. Also make sure that you're not running it surrounded by high ISO mode. While this take faster pictures in the gloomy, the image will be granular and unusable.
Buuuut.... I would choose the Canon 850 IS. it has optical sign stabilization and tons of features for a reasonable price. Oh and don't verbs about the resolution, the entry takes great pictures! Megapixels are a myth, believe it or not. So if you're thinking of going next to a higher number basically because----dont :-P
