Camera Trouble!? I have a FUJIFILM finepix S700 camera and my

I have a FUJIFILM finepix S700 camera and my little brother borrowed it and when it be returned it had a fuzzy blind that said "zoom error" and the red light be on.

I have no view what he could have done to it, or how to fix it.
Anyone hold any ideas?

My guess is that he tried to force/operate the zoom manually, and that's not to good for your electronics. Probably also the cause why it can't focus anymore. Try to switch it off, move off it for a few days and hope that a miracle happens when you turn it on again. otherwise, turn to a camerashop. And buy a untried one. (not in duplicate shop). I reflect on your little brother owes you an explanation, and a new camera. Try not to measure him up.
It sounds like he may own tried to push the lens in next to his hand. Do the following . cart the batteries out and turn the element on with no battery. Leave it like this for a few hours to drain the small internal freestyle built into the electronics of the camera. Replace with fresh battery and go to the menu after turning it on and see if here is a reset configuration or look in the booklet and see if you can reset all settings and start fresh approaching when the camera was bright. And never loan your camera to anyone.
Try taking the battery out, and putting the battery-operated back within. If that does not help, jump into the menu, if you can, and reset it back to the inventive factory settings. If that does not work, take it to a camera shop for repair.... or hold your brother replace the camera.
