35mm camera? I'm going to be taking photography next year and

I'm going to be taking photography next year and I will obligation a 35mm camera. My spending limit is $200 and I don't want an antiquated style piece of sh*t. I have looked at the Cannon Rebel and be going to get that except none of the stores enjoy it anymore and I believe it isn't being made any more. I DO NOT WANT AN OLD OR USED CAMERA.

I be thinking maybe a cannon or kodak? I really don't know though. If you own an idea though, can you grant a store (major stores only p&t) where on earth I can buy one?
Answers:
Canon still makes 35mm cameras. Most stores will not own many within stock but you should be able to find one. You can also check online. Try BH Photo they hold plenty of them.

I wouldn't rule out a used camera though. You can get a terrifically good used 35mm inside your price range explicitly much better than a new one would be.
Pentax K1000 built out of METAL, and reasonable. Plus, most intro to Photog. courses recommend it. With a spending limit of $200 and an insistence on a exotic camera, your choices are going to be mostly limited to almanac focus 35mm film cameras.

First up: The Nikon FM10 next to a 35-70mm lens. You can get one at bhphotovideo.com for merely under $200.

You can also try for a "Vivitar" SLR from bhphotovideo for just about $160; it's a rebadged generic Pentax-mount 35mm camera. I think you're better bad with the Nikon FM10.

Adorama.com sell a Canon autofocus camera, the Rebel K2, but it's out of stock. You could order presently and hope they deliver in the to hand future. Right presently, it's under $200, but again, out of stock.

I did also check Porters.com which happen to have a Pentax ZX-60 next to a 28-80mm lens for $199.99. Look at porters.com; at least it's an autofocus camera from a big entrepreneur. It appears to be in stock.

Hope this help and I hope you find your camera.
By not wanting any used cameras, you're severely limiting your choices. Many used cameras are surrounded by excellent shape, and the cost is considerably less than a hot camera will cost you. A Nikon FM2 is a good sturdy motion picture camera, but all of them will be used. There is a newer model call the FM10, and you might find a decent price on one. You won't find anything dutiful made by Kodak. They're good for show, but not so much for cameras.

KEH.com is an online used camera broker. they check and rate what they sell, adjectives brands stocked, extended warrenty can be purchased. My first camera was a Canon TX,particularly basic max shutter speed 1/500 sec. surrounded by excellent condition $79 50mm F1.8 FD EX cond $49, 135mmF3.5FD with cap Ex cond $29, 28mm F2.8FD engraved Ex cond $41 all using 52mm filter an old college prime lens basic set up for $198. similar deal for Nikon, Minolta Konica Olympus etc. Once you learn the bare bones your good to shift.
Most companies no longer produce 35mm film cameras (SLR or P&S). The ultimate Canon was the Rebel K2. You might be capable of find a Nikon FM10 (full manual Student SLR). If you don't mind a full guide camera Promaster 2500PK is still prduced and supplied to PRO retailers (www.promaster.com) around the US and uses the Pentax K-mount.
I am currently surrounded by a photography course and I have purchased a Promaster 2500pk (35mm SLR--totally manual). It be only $130.00 (plus tax), and I also basically purchased a manual flash for $20.00. All from Cord Camera. Although, if you are going to try this one, start looking soon, it's a great camera, but self that it is 'out of season' as they say, the unharmed CC company only have a few. I barely found one, it's an amazing camera! I upgraded from a Kalimar and I couldn't be happier!

Good Luck
Stephanie

I don't know exactly how to answer this examine. You seem to hold made up your mind about used equipment, but lone have a budget that will buy used equipment.

As long as you stick beside a used Canon or Nikon camera less than 15 years dated, hold it in your foot and test it to kind sure it works, then you can buy them for underneath $200 on craigslist in a city effective you.

A new Nikon FM 10 beside a 35-70mm lens will cost you about $250
A unknown Canon Rebel T2 with a 28-90mm lens will cost you more or less $280
