Is at hand something wrong next to my digital camera?? Okay so, my Panasonic DMC-FX3 digital camera has other

Okay so, my Panasonic DMC-FX3 digital camera has other worked fine, but today I went to upload some pictures onto my laptop and no device is detected. Nothing pops up and starts the upload. I messed around next to the settings on my camera a little to see if I could amount out the problem. I went into "USB Mode" surrounded by "Settings", selected "PC", but it continues to not respond when I connect the camera to my laptop. It immediately says it's contained by a sort of TV Mode and I just can't amount out how to fix it! I've even tried the cord on a different digital camera which worked fine, so it has to be the DMC-FX3 that's messed up. Any counsel?

ps- this is my first yahoo question and i simply really want to upload my pictures! please help! gratitude!
Answers:

ok exit out of every thing you enjoy and shut down your computer. unplug everything the wait approaching 5 minutes.turn it back on and try to upload the pics again. Just take watchfulness of your camera. Is the camera itself is working fine? If it is, then the rest cause from Windows OS. It is really a troublesome OS. Sometime you will have no other course but to format the whole screen. I don't know when Windows will give us a stable platform approaching Linux or Mac.
