Thinking of buying a new camera. I'm between an amature and pro. Would close to to do some mountain scenes and possible starry night of New Mexico. I've read reviews on Fuji Finepix S700 and they seem pretty perfect, especially for the money (which is a big factor for me) Any thoughts on this camera?

My be Fuji & I don't know it's now broken O.o
I have see this camera sold on sites like craigslist for really cheap, so I am guessing that they are nice but not the greatest. If money is the issue later I would have to read aloud that this is a pretty good camera. I would recommend a Nikon, once you seize more serious about photography. It is good camera except that it have purple fringing problem which cannot be fully removed even with UV filter but for outlook its good.
