Photo "quality" and camera phone is an oxymoron. No camera phone near it's tiny sensor, crap tiny lens, and pinhole aperture will ever be able to produce true soaring quality photo output. But I suppose as far as phones travel, the Sony is as good as any. Don't be mislead by the 5MP rating, it manner little when used in a camera phone.

hell yea....i hav sony ericsson k850 and its the best sh*t ive eva use
the Fujifilm Finepix S5200/S5600 (same camera) is a 5.1MP camera and take incredible pictures. I has a superCCD sensor which i infer is just a bit bigger than normal point and shoot sensors, and controls rumble better. But it takes great pictures, have a full manual mode and can shoot RAW.
There is no such piece as a Good Camera Phone, just varying degree of Low Quality, if all you want to do is prospect images on your Phone afterwards the Ericsson is fine. My K750i with it's 2MP Camera is OK for in recent times viewing on Phone. Do not kid yourself or let anyone convince you otherwise more or less the Image quality of Camera Phones, if you want Pictures BUY a Camera!
Good Luck Try the NOKIA N95 camera phone.
OR try the LG VIEWTY phone ('it is also touchscreen'). both 5mp+
I find that the nokia N95 takes a clearer picture that the SONY ERICSON K850I.
