Mixing pictures together? I have two pictures. One is of the space

I have two pictures. One is of the space plunger and the other is of my friend and I at the top of the space needle. I want to attatch the picture of my friend and I to the bottom of the picture of the space nozzle. Can I do this on my computer? I want it to be so when I print the picture it is one. And, no, I am not going to tape/glue them together.... Help?

P.S. I have the olympus master item on my computet if that helps...

If you're talking just about merging them together, you can do the following in Photoshop Elements (under $100 at most stores):

1. File>Create Photomerge
2. Click Browse and select the 2 metaphors you want to use
3. Click OK
4. If it can automatically merge for you, it will; it can't, you'll need to drag the imagery to the work area
5. You enjoy the option to move to move them base on your preference, too

I own Photoshop Elements 2.0 and 6.0.

Hope this helps! The software that comes near digital cameras usually isn't good for more than adjust color and contrast.

However, I've heard that Gimp ( http://www.gimp.org/ ) is similar to Photoshop, and that's free. Maybe if you tried Lucy's suggestion with Gimp...?

Or you can build a photo collage with Shutterfly Studio ( http://www.shutterfly.com/studio/overvie... ), also free. A collage can own only two pictures contained by it, if you want. You can also add some to some extent nice borders.
