Camera Error 99? I just get a new-to-me lens from a reputable
I just get a new-to-me lens from a reputable lens dealer on ebay. They stated that the lens be in righteous condition except that the autofocus was broken.
I hold attached this lens to my
Canon K2
Canon EOS 2000
Canon Rebel XT
On every camera, when I press the shutter I get an incomplete shutter snap. Its impossible to tell apart on all three cameras, except my digital displayed an Error 99 while the others did not.
My cameras adjectives work perfectly next to myother lenses.
Any idea whats wrong beside the lens?
Answers: The first thing to do is verbs the contact on the lens with a pencil eraser. If one of those contacts is dirty, it can grounds the error that you are experiencing.
If this does not work, you will need to distribute the lens off to own it serviced.
