Take your camera to a friends computer, plug it in.. .. .if it works, problem is your computer... does not work? you camera...
You have to turn on the camera ... sometimes contained by a certain mode ... read your instruction book and see if it tells you how to do that ... unsurprisingly the camera must be turned on once it is connected ... not before. Have you installed the software? Is the camera turned bad when you connect it? And then turned on once connected? Are the battery adequately charged?
If you own a card reader, use that instead. You don't have to bother near software.
it is messed up. complain to canon and request a repayment or an exchange
I used to agree to my camera sit there but I would forget to turn it on so my computer didn't realize it be plugged in.
Did you full the mode down to playback ?
Install software again, delete the last time.
You need to unplug the camera, turn it past its sell-by date. Then plug it back contained by, turn it on, and wait. If nil comes up, go to "My Computer" and you should see the camera deity there. Double Click it and in attendance you are!
