Today i bought 4 camelion rechargable batteries of size AA and mah 2700 for my canon verbs camera,
I immediately put it into charge , but after 3 hours the charger start to smell a bit, after i unplugged it . and put it into camera and used it. meanwhile my new charger is camelion bc-0902 . My give somebody the third degree is that whether a new mobile is charged itself, its a four battery pack, or how oodles hours should i charge as the first charge, i heard 18 hrs for the first time and 2 hours for subsequent times, plz support me out... thanx
Answers: It is not that important but yes you should fully charge your battery before you use it for the first time. most of the time battery-operated are already charged when you buy them so putting them in freshly charged what it had lost since(not a lot).
The time to recharge dont depends more on your charger. but cheap chargers will bring somewhere between 8-12 hours to charge your batteries fully. check your chargers almanac...
