How can I fix a Digital SLR camera that get showery? I know it's probably too late to gather it,
I know it's probably too late to gather it, but how can I try to make a soaked Canon EOS 400D work again?
Answers:
None! Sorry.
No chance. Buy a Nikon subsequent time.
Even though it may be working now, I would grasp it off to a technician for drying, any residual moisture inside will merely corrode the circuitry and eventually the camera will stop functioning. Better to spend a little presently than loose the lot later.
send it stale to repair shop....get a nikon subsequent! If it have been soaked as you speak, it probably is shot. You can try leaving it alone for a week or so and reinstall battery-operated and try it again but, it's a long shot. I don't know why some posters would say to buy a Nikon subsequent time as they won't survive being soaked any.
you might know how to soak it in dry rice for 24 hours it will soak up adjectives the moisture

don't turn the power on. I've hear that you can take the freestyle out and dry everything out. Let it air dry for 24 hours, the meticulously put a fully charged battery contained by it, and cross your fingers.
How soaked? Like dropped in sea? You're probably out of luck. Just caught in a precipitation? Try a camera repair shop; they can disassmble the camera and dry it out, then reassemble it.
Take it to the shop if it doesn't work after it dries. You will probably enjoy to pay as much as a topical. Your choice.
Put it in a backpack of dry rice for at least 24 hours, and pray that it works...
