I'm planning on saving money to receive a better digital camera than I have because I've have it for a while and the video quality is doomed to failure. I need one that take good pictures and video.

ok cant travel past a sony cybershot...I've have 2 and stills and movies are well up to cut into for a reasonably priced reliable section...pah i would suggest LOOKING at a Kodak EasyShare C813. It is a 8.2 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom!
