Does anyone hold any experience beside Sunpak / Quantaray tripods? I was wondering if they are clad or junky

I was wondering if they are clad or junky tripods?

Paul R is right..also recommend a ball leader with two control knob like a Bogen-Manfrotto 488 RC2 or if price is crucial Giottos MH 1002 is also a good Ballhead I don't remember their naming for a high-speed release but check Amazon.com..you can do a search for Tripods or Monopods and Ballheads..honest place to choose what fits your needs..unanimously if no load know-how is listed click on more industrial info to see what handles your great load camera and lens..(Quick release head let you hold on to the interchangeable plate attached to your camera and quickly set up to use)
I cannot see bygone manfrotto, the most solid for the money.
Get a 190 kit beside head, it will come across expensive at first, but come back surrounded by 15 years and tell us if it be good pro (or buy cheap tripods that break every six months to support your expensive camera) i have a Quantaray tripod. and its really appropriate. it expands to over 6 feet and it fundamentally light.
