They're both great -- you can't go wrong near either.
You should remember that these models are 20+ years antediluvian and they may need service. Make sure parts are still available where on earth you live.
A worry-free alternative is Nikon's FM10, which you can buy brand new beside a full factory warranty.

Both those cameras are polite, but I prefer anything Nikon....durable and great quality.

I enjoy a Pentax K1000 and its a good solid camera, but thats not to say aloud that the Nikon wouldnt also be a good choice. Which camera will come next to more lenses. Which one has lenses that cover more?
