i hold a sd 630, sd 750 and they are great,
1000/1100 look UGLY
but they are performant
i would however buy the 12 mp SD970 IS,,, its REALLY performant
its almost equal to a Canon G9, which is ******** PERFORMANT.
SD970IS,, 1100 JUST HAS COLORS , NOTHING ELSE The SD inventory of cameras are very popular. They enjoy great image trait & some very cool features, and the modern SD1100 looks like it will be a moment ago as good. And it's available surrounded by a range of colours (which is a first for these ultra compact cameras).
The 1.3fps is simply the number of frames the camera can shoot while it's in continuous shooting mode. It's around average for a compact camera. You would probably not use this function very habitually.
A high speed memory card is recommended. Have a look at the inexpensive, Sandisk Extreme III SD (2GB is a well-mannered minimum capacity). It's fast & reliable...and needed for smooth camera operation, especially when shooting elevated quality movies. Don't forget to format it first...and put together sure you have a suitable read of the user manual.
