I have a 2gb compact flash memory card for my camera that have never given me too much problem until today! It will not read in my computer or surrounded by my camera. It says it requests to format, and then say it is unable to use card. It won't format, or read, or do anything! I REALLY NEED THE PICTURES that are on it! Is at hand anything I can do?

Check to see if it is locked. There is a little switch on the threshold of the card. Maybe you slid it to the LOCK side.
If that doesn't work take it to a well-mannered repair shop, maybe they can backing.
you freshly have to bite it and format it . every time you find a new card it have to be formatted.
I KNOW THIS WORKED ON MY CAMERA ONCE BUT IT WAS AN SD SO I DON'T KNOW IF IT WILL WORK WITH YOURS, TURN YOUR CAMERA OFF COMPLETELY, TAKE OFF THE BATTERY TOO...THEN TURN IT BACK ON AND GO TO SEE PICS....THAT WORKED FOR ME HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU.... 1) Compact flash doesn't have a "lock" on it. I don't assume that poster knows the difference between a compact flash card and an SD card.
2) You card have probably become corrupted. The way to accord with specifically to use image seizure software. Some may have come near your card when you bought it (for example, my sandisk extreme cards came near it).

Essentially, you have the software examine the card, see if it'll find and restore your health the photos. If it will, you buy the software, recover the photos and after format your card. Personally, I might not trust that card again either.
