A Good Camera? I'm looking to spend a good bit of money
I'm looking to spend a good bit of money on a camera ($700+)
I call for it to be digital, with well-mannered shutter speed, and picture quality. A well brought-up zoom lens would also be great, but at the same time i want it to know how to take pictures of anything is up close and personal.
I need some suggestions on a pious professional camera.
I want to further my photography of plants, and wildlife, so its necessary for me to upgrade from my crappy $50 walmart cam lol.

For lower than $500 you can buy one of the most popular DSLR, the Nikon D40 with 18-55mm lens.

Go for a Nikon D40 near the extra 55-200mm lens all for underneath $700. Or... spend $499 ($399) refurbished on the camera and buy the 18-200mm lens for $678ish. One of the major advantages to the lens is that you no longer own a need to revise lenses (unless you want to do telephoto or fisheye) for most everything!
D40 comes with a rechargeable battery-operated - get an extra one! canon powershot s5 next to rechargeable ion lithium batteries.

I a short time ago bought the Sony Alpha DSLR-A300 (which i think runs around your price range) concluding week and could not be happier. I spoke to a very educated man at the National Camera Exchange for two hours and I basically discovered that this is the best characteristic camera on offer contained by my low price range. I also discovered (after trying out adjectives the cameras and being cultured by the very functional camera expert) that for what you're paying it beats the part of top competitors like Nikon and Canon. Unlike various other cameras it has an picture stabilizer in the body itself so no business what lens you end up using the camera will other have the stabilizer, which is fantastic, especially if, close to me, you don't know how to handle a camera drastically well. This camera is without a doubt easy to use, and the depth-of-field is excellent. If I may be so bold I would suggest spending a bit more and opt for a Tamron (SP AF17-50mm) lens. I decided I might as very well go for it and it be the best decision I could enjoy possibly made. The quality is superb. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! If you still don't know what to do though I would suggest chitchat to an expert at your camera store, I found it to be exceedingly helpful. Good luck!
