Answers:
catch a kodak they take the best photos
cannon are crappy
they dont take as suitable pics
canon and lumix are both good cameras i own both i have the lumix dmc-fx7 which fits contained by your pants pocket and take great pics Always seize Canon. Canon is the best. Just think almost it. Canon only specializes surrounded by cameras. No other company does that. They put so much effort into in that products it's amazing. With a Canon you'll most likely never hold problems. I had a Canon for 10 years and never one problem. The pictures other came out crisp and clear. Now look at Panasonic for a minute. They label TVs, phones, DVD players, printers, stereo systems..... and the list go on. They don't spend much time on one product so they can't really make it correct. This was in recent times one example. Most if not adjectives companies do this. It's all almost the money for them. I guaranty that if you buy any other camera you will have problems and eventually you'll own to get another one. This is the in one piece plane. They want your money. Get Canon and you won't go wrong. **** you can't shift wrong!
Good Question!
They do make other products but they specialize within cameras!!
Don't feel impossible just because you hold a crappy camera. It's all well brought-up! You'll be O.K.
If you click on the specifications connect and scroll down until you find 'macro focus range', you will see just how close you can return with with the camera.
I would suggest getting any the Lumix DMC-F18 or the canon. Both have a 1cm 'macro focus range' and both enjoy image stabilization. The Kodak is something like 12cm and the other Lumix, I believe, was 5cm.
That process (if you decide to move about with the Lumix F18 or the Canon) that you will know how to focus within one cm of your subject within macro mode. And the image stabilization will also ensure that you will enjoy a very small amount of camera shake. Although, you won't see the full assistance of the image stabilization until you zoom adjectives the way out.)
Both cameras enjoy a great lens on it. However, if I had to suggest only one, I would go beside the Lumix. It has a Leica lens on it which is a top of the string lens. If you look up Leica cameras you will find that they are VERY expensive. It's because of the lens! (Your lens is the most expensive and important module of your camera) Also, the Lumix has slightly more mega pixels. (Although you probably wouldn't catch sight of the difference) It also has more optical zoom than the Canon. Although that may not concern if you plan on using the macro mode but might be nice to have. On the other foot, you might find that the Canon is more user friendly. However, either one would still be an excellent choice!
Hope this help! Good Luck!
By the way: Panasonic will be a short time ago as reliable as Canon. Also, Canon makes more than basically Cameras. They make scanners, printers, faxes, binoculars and even calculators! http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/contro...
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 merely for the Leica lens.
My opinion Canon is worth to buy. If u want to buy online i found it cheaper at amazon. Let see>>

Make sure you find one with a viewfinder, because if you are within bright sunlight, you may not be able to see the display. I am partial to Canons, but this one doesn't own a viewfinder. I'd keep looking, if I be you. Find one with a viewfinder.
