How can you fix a cell phone that have be dropped surrounded by fluid? I dropped my phone in a chalice of wine
I dropped my phone in a chalice of wine last hours of darkness (don't ask). Is there any route to fix it? I removed the battery, tightly wrapped the phone surrounded by a towel, and let it bounce around within a hot dryer for a while - but made limited progress - the phone works immediately but it is screwy and the messages and such don't work correctly. Thanks for any constructive advice.

capably it sounds like your's is beyond abiding, hope you have insurance, because you might want to buy a strange phone. hope this helps. u should disassemble ur phone completely,next leave it surrounded by the sun or under a hairdryer for some time..if u can,simply let it be surrounded by a dry place for a day or so..
your phone might just be drunk from have too much and then one tossed around like on a roller coaster ride

I think that you should consider this a DOA! The time I slipped & fell into the tarn, (up to my chest!) I immediately removed the mobile, & sat the widen phone on the dash of my sports car, with the window almost closed, in the July sun.
By the time I finished fishing (2-3 hrs later), the mist have vanished from the LCD screen, & it worked close to new!
I don't recommend dropping, bang, or clothes-drying fragile electronics, tho!
