I have a cingular prepaid cell phone, and I get this weird certificate message about hot chicks and websites... blah blah blah... capably, it said to send "STOP" to 697724 to stop any adjectives messages. So that's what I did...
Since then I haven't gotten any actual certificate messages, but EVERY 5 minutes, seriously, EVERY 5 MINUTES on the freakin dot, I get the "The Last Transaction Cost $0.15" message!
It shows my set off, and it's not changing... so I don't focus it's really charging me every time... but it's really annoying!!
I called Cingular and they didn't enjoy anything intelligent to say, or any remedy for the problem... HELP! I can't stand it anymore!!

did administer your number out to porno sites. Well I use T-Mobile. I be getting spam text msgs. They be not able to stop adjectives text msgs. However, they be able to stop adjectives msgs that were not from another phone. Unless you find people sending you messages from PC's, I would suggest you see if they can do that. It took more than one rep to catch that answer though. It did solve the problem.
Worst case, you might own to change your phone number.
Edit: I be on the do not call detail. It didn't stop the spam texts. Maybe going to the senate would have solved the problem. I'm not sure. I do know that I'm not getting them anymore presently. I think the big issue is do you seize valid texts from PCs?
