texting is a mobile phone feature the touch have no cellular radio so even if you put the application on your touch it wouldnt work Just get a webapp for free manuscript messaging! Go to www.apple.com/webapps
there is a webapp for iLounge (that have all the webapps)
Go to email contained by messaging and then u should see free record messaging

Just hack/Jailbreak your iPhone
