if I was to receive the Sidekick LX and get the "Data Plan" which have unlimited texting,internet and all that stuff will I still know how to make phone call.

ya you will be capable of you could get the facts plan and a cheap calling plan for a lot smaller number then making phone call just on the facts plan Yes 20 cent per call.
