DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE iPHONE COMES OUT FOR VERIZON?? I am ready to upgrade my phone... and I

I am ready to upgrade my phone... and I really want an iPhone... but I enjoy Verizon. I can deal beside the phone I have for a while... but DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE IPHONE COMES OUT FOR VERIZON??
Answers:
I be told yesterday by a Verizon rep that in 2 years the contract open up. Apple did turn down Verizon cause Apple needed too much control over the network or some crap close to that. Apple is doing great so they must get some credit.

I love my iPhone!!
AT&T has an exclusive contract beside Apple for 5 years so Verizon won't be able to receive the iphone until that contract is up. Even then it is unlikely they will take it since Apple actually offered the iphone to Verizon first and they turned Apple down.
My guess is never. Verizon uses HSDPA, a type of cell phone signal. AT&T uses GSM.

Apple would enjoy to design another iPhone with a HSDPA radio, afterwards order another 10 million. Then they'd hold to maintain two different types of cell phones.

Rarely do you see cell phones as both GSM and HSDPA (one of the exceptions be the Razr)
iPhone is GSM, Verizon is CDMA. With 2 different networks, the iPhone would own to have a seperate interpretation made, like adjectives phones on both networks. If they were doing it, an FCC profile or something would have slipped by to us by immediately. I wouldn't say anytime soon, even after the Cingular project expires. Devildoll answered your query perfectly, however, enjoy you ever thought about the Voyage by Verizon? It's vitally the iPhone but it's made by LG for Verizon, and from what I've read and heard it's better than the iPhone. I one-sidedly was going to bring the phone, but unfortunately that would require me to upgrade my nearest and dearest share plan from America's Choice (which they are saying is no longer offered) to the Nationwide Plan. Which isn't bleak but I don't even utilize all the crag minutes on my current plan (500 peak beside 3 people and 1 is a teenager), so it's not beneficial for me to retribution $20 to $30 more a month for more peak minutes when I wouldn't even come anywhere in the neighbourhood to using them.

If I were you I'd budge into your local Verizon store and check out the Voyager, play with it, bring back the feel for it. You never know, you might close to it better!

Good luck!
