If use cell phone as modem to connect to internet next to laptop, take charged by time connected or by information? Hi, I'm a customer of an Australian phone company
Hi, I'm a customer of an Australian phone company called Optus. I'd close to to ask, if I were to use my cell phone as a modem, to connect to the internet next to my laptop. Do I get charged by how long I am connected? or by how much facts I send and receive.
So, eg. I'm connected for 1 hour but use 5mb of facts. Do I get charged for one hours worth of connectivity, or do I lately get charged for the 5mb I used?
Any answers and give a hand would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. Don't bother suggesting I call Optus, because I did today, and amongst nearly 6,7 transfers from one dep. to the other...some tell me one proposal...while others tell me the other. So vitally, I was on nickname for about an hour....beside absolutely no well brought-up outcome.
