Is it possible to take it to a store and carry it unlocked? If so where? Also, can I use my AT&T sim card within it?

affix me and email me i can help you unlock your sidekick. yes you can but until you do

1. go to settings "top not here button"

2. go to "make friends options"

3. press scan manually and then linger for it to say cingular and next you can use it only for calling :(
