Can you charge your cell phone near your usb cable ?
i have a usb cable for my phone to my computer does it charge my phone??Answers:
It depends on the model of your phone. My weak motorola could be charged with USB, however my topical nokia does not have tis knack and instead it runs down the charge for some peculiar reason beause when you plug it within it automatically loads data verbs software on it.
Best way to find out is to plug it contained by when it is out of charge and try turning it on or leaving it overnight or something to see if it have charged up.

yes you can do but it does take longer to do it this path and you have to own the pc turned on at impossible to tell apart time..its much better with a charger

That would depend on your phone or cable & your USB port. And older USB (like 1.0) that doesn't supply power, logically, will not charge your phone. Some phones or cables may not manufacture a power connection & may require a separate cable for charging, possibly near an adapter needed as well.
