yes, go ahead and buy yourself a background card reader, its only approaching $15 bucks
that cable is only for music verbs of connecting as a modem. if you get a memory card and plug it directly into the phone consequently into the computer you can drag and drop into the my flix folder yeah you can buy a card reader and put vids on the memory card and they'll show up on the phone but you must convert them to 3gp/3g2 files for verizon phones.
