i have simply got an lg viewty, and, although the phone is great, i am have real problems beside the software,, ...everytime i plug my phone into the pc i achieve a "no phones conncted" message, and if i do get a nouns,whenever i try to go to contents or anywhere else, i grasp the same message.. wot can i do?

The first thing you obligation to do is to make sure you hold a memory card in it, as it can't verbs files without one, and the software won't recognise the phone. It take a micro SD card up to 2GB in size. It will switch a card smaller than that, but anything bigger will be read as a 2GB card by the phone and it will ignore the rest of the card.
If you want to upload and download via the internet, most Veiwty's will not work on the "Mass Storage" setting. This is a quirk of the phone and not a slate, as such. If it is on Mass Storage, disconnect it from the USB and change the USB nouns mode to Data Service, then re-connect the phone. To rework the setting, do the following, in sequence: press menu (the square of dots on the front screen), settings (the cog reins at the bottom right), phone settings, connectivity, USB connection mode, notes service, select. Then press the red call call a halt key to come out of that mode.
