I have recieved a couple of primer messages on my mobile from a number 2002 ( no idea what specifically ) and all the messages utter are "incompatible message format". Has anyone any idea what this mode ?

my friend have this error message come up if i try and send her a standard photo from my phone. My phone is newer than hers and her phone can not show the picture unless i reduce the message but if its coming from 2002 next it wont be something from friends.
It could be a 3rd party company however in attendance codes are usally 5 digits long not 4 so i would call your grating provider and ask them if they can help at adjectives.
it means that your phone can't read the incoming message format.. conceivably it's a MMS. try activating your GPRS.. contact your see subscriber on how to activate.. Probably someone sent an MMS (not SMS) to your phone, but you're not set up to receive them. Ignore it. Probably spam anyway.
