Bluetooth is just for sending stuff approaching music and photos from one phone to another (like with your friends) or from a computer to phone but usb is easier for that and no they do not enjoy to be the same brand or anything just one and the same type of bluetooth (most phones are 2.0) and once you connect you can send stuff to your friends and you might not be connecting because you put contained by the wrong code (most are 0000) but if the person have a pin or pass code attached you own to type the right one.
Well, next to bluetooth, it's usually meant to use a blue tooth headset. Some time's though, you can dispatch your contacts and things like that to another phone, but it depends on the create. Some phone company's don't allow there phones to do that because of copyright infringement. Like if you distribute a song or a wallpaper. Check your manual. If you want to try-out it again, try to first turn on the bluetooth function on both phones, then try to duet them both. if that doesn't work, one of the phones don't support pairing between phones. You can send photo's or music files. View a record and select options, later send, using bluetooth. Your phone should poke about for other bluetooth devices within breadth and you then selct which to distribute to.
You and the person delivery file enjoy to have bluetooth switched on. Most associates only see it when required as it drains the battery faster. Your bluetooth phone will be "the model you own" but you can first name your phone to male it identifiable.
Connecting to a workstation enables you to verbs pics etc but you need a bluetooth usb stick contained by the pc. Some software is effortless, eg Nokia, others can be tricky or downright awkward.
Hope that helps.
