Can you give a hand me fix my cell phone (water smash up, sort of)? hi. my 8 month old daughter loves to chew
hi. my 8 month old daughter loves to chew on my phone -- for some origin, it is the ONLY thing that make her gums feel better in a minute that she is teething. if any of you has a little one who has gone through highly painful teething, you'll realize why i have consent to her chew on it to her heart's content. well, presently NONE of the keys work. i brought it to sprint -- they won't fix it because the technician found "hose damage." it isn't insured, so it will cost me a ton to replace. anyone know how to fix it?

I work at a sprint dealership. Your best choice would be to replace your phone. I know for a reality that Sprint will not repair or replace a water violate phone, its the same accord if you had tmobile or cingular for some use they do not repair water wound phones.
If cost is an issue you can easily go and get a cheap used phone or a new phone for a cheaper price than the corporate stores at any precinct. Go to the smaller cellphone stores that are normally stalls within the middle of the mall. Make sure you check the phone at hand, sometimes the phone can have impossible esn numbers and you cannot activate them. So produce sure you check them before you buy it, you can telephone call the sprint customer care or ask the sale representative to check it for you.
You can try to fix your other phone by opening it and departing it out under the sun to dry out. But sometimes that doesn't work, depending on how shabby your phone is. Also if you were to receive your water diluted phone fixed, there can other be a reoccuring problem with it. Since its wet damaged controlled problems can keep arising contained by the future.
If you win a new or used phone and go against the old phone that get the water prejudice then you will hold a phone you can use and your child can use the old phone to chew on.
if it really have "water damage" (which i presume is crap because a baby chewing on it shouldn't do too much wrong.. but whatever...) I've hear that if you let it nouns dry or take a hairdryer to it, it should be fine. Or in recent times get a cheat phone to replace it for a while. i THINK YOU SHOULD TAKE IT APART....WELL THE BATTERY AND LET IT SIT AND DRY FOR 24 HOURS MAYBE LESS BUT SEE IF THAT WOULD WORK...ONE OF MY PHONES FELL IN A SINK FULL OF WATER AND IT WORKED AFTER THAT...JUST TRY THAT...GOOD LUCK!
