Why can't I add on ringtones onto a US Cellular MOTOROKR Z6M from my computer? My girlfriend has alike exact phone but from T-Mobile.
My girlfriend has alike exact phone but from T-Mobile. She drops mp3 ringtones into her phone like no other beside a USB cord from the computer. Yet, when I try with the US Cellular phone. It denies putting the mp3 or wav into the ringtone screened-off area under the shared folder. Give me knowledgable answers except switch to a different provider. I'm under untried 2 year contract. So that's not happening. The support of US Cellular be also clueless. They say purchase mp3's. I would fairly have the mp3's I've made next to reason 4. I've also bought MPT 4.6 and didn't support at all. Doesn't authorize phone.

I think it have to be a .wav or .mp4 to use it as a ringtone. There are some free converters out there. Google's your friend! (Or yahoo search) I have one and the same phone also from US Cell. It is possible to use your Mp3 as your rigtone.
