LG makes clad CDMA phones but as for GSM, they are classed at the bottom, the VERY Bottom
If you are in the states, and looking at the GSM chocolate, I would STRONGLY insist on you to run as far from the phone as possible.
1) Its a European model lacking GSM850, GSM850 is needed to receive the best coverage
2) There are so several other slider phones from companys like Nokia, SE and Samsung that focus on the GSM souk and offer dignified quality sliders

Cheers I have one.. hardly used it.
No speaker phone, messy problems can occur beside it.
I'd really recommend buying something different.
