I was wondering if you can use the helio phones, and go and get other cell phone companies like (T-MOBILE) to turn it on near their plans.??
Answers: No. Helio's phones and network are CDMA, which doesn't use sim cards. T-Mobile's phones and lattice are GSM, which requires sim cards in charge to work. They are two completely different technologies and are not compatible beside each other. Unlocked solely refers to GSM and iDEN phones and means they can adopt a sim card from any compatible provider. CDMA phones have to be flashed to another CDMA provider's software and settings, which can possibly brick the phone. Even afterwards, only a couple of CDMA providers are allowing other CDMA provider's phones on their networks at this time.
