I accidentally destroyed my cell phone. It's an AT&T GoPhone. If I go to the AT&T store and buy another one...Can I keep hold of my number that I had on the antediluvian one?
Answers: Yep. Just salvage the SIM card from your Old Phone (usually behind the battery) and insert it into the foreign Phone (same place, behind the battery).
Or ask them to assign your older number to a new SIM. If you stored any contacts/Texts on your Old SIM you will lose them on the hot one though.
