Super Smash Brawl?

I live surrounded by Canada and a friend bought as a gift, a Japanese Wii from Hong Kong.
She give me a bunch of games that were copies of original.
From this, I can guess it's a modded Wii but with which chip I haven't the faintest clue.
Since the Wii be all within Japanese, I got frustrated and haven't played near it for months.
I broke my hiatus when Brawl came out but when I put the spectator sport in, THE BLOODY THING WOULDN'T LOAD IT.
Instead there's a massive cross-question mark and a bunch of Japanese which I can't read.
Any suggestions on how I can start playing Brawl?
....Should also mention that my Wii isn't connected to the Internet as I get too frustrated with the deficit of English instruction

My guess would be that the modchip within it is designed to play pirate games, but not break the region lock. It could also be that you are one of the group of people whose Wiis own problems with dual-layer disks, of which Brawl is among, save the, first. Im pretty sure you have a wiikey (modchip) on your system, which is preventing you from playing the spectator sport due to its lack of mortal able to play productive dual layer discs, if you enjoy a pretty good computer i would recommend that you download the spectator sport and burn it, you will need to buy dual branch blanks 8.5GB. But before you do any of this I would recommend finding out the sympathetic of modchip you have installed I will provide you beside a link that when you enter your serial it will provide next to your chipset, if you have a D2B, DMS, D2A chipset most feasible you have a Wiikey if its a D2C you probably enjoy a D2C chip. I would recommend visiting the forum of the other correlation I posted in directive for you to get updated on the update prerequisite for your modchip to run Brawl. I'm pretty sure you are going to need to run the 1.9g update if tis a wiikey. If you own more questions merely post them on the forum, they should be glad to help you.
