Super Smash Bros Brawl doesn't work on my chipped Wii? I downloaded Brawl. Alas, it doesn't work and am

I downloaded Brawl. Alas, it doesn't work and am looking for advice. When the disc is contained by, it sometimes boots up and shows on the wii menu, but when I go within and press start, it loads for a few seconds making alot of commotion and then give the "error, cant read disc" error.

I heard abundantly of wii's had to be distribute back because the lens of the lazer is dirty and it have difficulty reading the dubble layered disc. Well, I guess I can't send it stern to nintendo for fixing this cos my wii is chipped, so what am I to do?

Should I run the online update to update it to 3.2? (I ran the auto Brawl update and it updated fine, but is still 3.1U) or Could it simply be a bad disc that I used to burn (Melody DVD+R DL)?

I also read somewhere that brawl can't run near Wiikey chip or that you have to update your chip or patch the ISO beforehand you burn it. Don't know what you know about this. Problem is I don't know what chip I hold so I cant run a chip update.
P.S. Dont ditch my question cos its chipped
