abc offers lost streaming from their website and i want to see it on my tv, but when i go to their site from my ps3 trellis browser, it doesnt support it. is there a track i could use something like TVersity or something to stream it?
Answers: Nope. TVersity is a medium server used to stream from PC to ps3, not vice-versa. The ps3 itself doesn't run it, it receives the stream from it.
The certainty that the ps3 lacks an up-to-date flash player is really not Sony's fault, it's Adobe/Macromedia's quirk. They don't support anyone but Windows and Mac in their most recent version. Everyone else gets to use outdated crap.
One entity you could do is rip the stream, then transcode it into mp4 and keep watch on it later. You'll want either a PC or a linux install on your ps3 to do that.
If you contact Adobe and relay them you'll boycott their products until their latest flash player supports ps3 firmware, perchance that will get their attention. However boycotting Adobe is rock-hard to do.
