ok what usb to lan adapters work on wii? I dont want pay $30 for something I can draw from for less. so what unoffical ones are compitiable. (please dont put in the picture me to get wifi rationale it won't work in my house, dont ask why)

Several reasons: Every USB device wants drivers to explain the system how to interpret the data coming from the USB port, as the device doesn't know if it's a LAN adapter, an iPod, a upright or whatnot.
So since there is one and only a driver for the official LAN adapter installed, companies try to modernize the official LAN adapter.
Since the just competition is the $30 Nintendo adapter, they just maintain a few cent below this price, as there is no price cheaper for a device that would work beside the Wii.
So it seems you won't bring around spending about $30.
