PS3 wired nouns? Okay I got my broadband nouns in my bedroom.

Okay I got my broadband nouns in my bedroom. Now is this what I enjoy to do to go online next to PS3- Take the connection to my living room where on earth my PS3 is and plug in the internet rank to a modem(can a dial up modem be used?) and then connect the PS3 to the modem via Ethernet cable. Is this what I hold to do for wired connection?
Answers:

Dial-up is not supported as it is not a broadband nouns (at least contained by the US).

Dial-up is restricted to a maximum rate of 56kbps (56,000 bits/sec) due to laws surrounded by the US that restrict the amount of data allowed to be transmitted via an analog row. DSL is a digital signal on a phoneline and therefore is exempt from this rule.

Common broadband speeds are around 3-5Mbps (3,000,000 - 5,000,000 bits/sec) which are MUCH faster than dialup speeds.

For your wired interview, yes, all you stipulation is a broadband modem and a long ethernet cable. You will recieve a DHCP address via the modem and you will be able to play almost instantly.

If your computer is currently plugged into the modem after you need to purchase a router if you do not already enjoy one. If you do have one consequently plug your PS3 into that instead. yes
