120gb - 160gb PS3?! Fact/Fiction? Hey guys do any of you know if these
Hey guys do any of you know if these versions of the ps3 are coming out.
If so will they enjoy the same hardware specs as the 60gb & 80gb interpretation (not 40gb) e.g Backwards compatibility, card readers etc.
Finally will this be a worldwide release or will sony be region specific next to this one.

doubt it, you can always only buy an external hard drive that is to say compatible and place it, theres a slot to simply slide it in

No. There isn't going to be a 120GB or 160GB PS3. The rumors about a 120GB or 160GB PS3 started circulating because Sony stopped shipping the 80GB PS3's to the U.S. delayed last year.
However, Sony be just planning on coming out next to a new 80GB PS3 bundle that's going to include Metal Gear Solid 4 and a Dualshock 3 controller. I'm not sure if that MGS4 bundle will be contained by Europe or not, but there is going to be a Grand Theft Auto 4 40GB PS3 bundle surrounded by Europe.

the 120/160 were in recent times rumors, nothing be ever confirmed by sony. however you can always upgrade the hdd your self next to a laptop drive and make it anything size you want. from what ive heard, my friend have asked his local retelers, and they had said that it will come some time surrounded by this sumer, while the 80gb will be discontinued.
