Xbox 360 volume? The volume on my xbox 360 stopped working when
The volume on my xbox 360 stopped working when we switched t.v.'s and everything is plugged in. Any accepted wisdom on what is wrong or how to fix it?

Try connecting your xbox to another TV and see if the sound works after. If it does, something is wrong with the TV you switched to. Try wiggle the cords around while they plugged into the TV, as it could be a shortage in the ports. If that doesn't work and your TV does not hold a second AV input, you should probably replace the TV. You might be able to bypass those AV port if you connect your xbox to a VCR and next connect the VCR to the TV through the coaxial port (the one in the put a bet on that you screw in). But if all else fail, get a contemporary TV.

1)Check the a/v cables if they are tighly secured to the 360
2)If your trying to play music, push the xbox button (botton within the middle of the controller) and on that menu there should be a volume controll that you can bring to the fore or lower
3) If you switched from surround sound, try going on the xbox 360's system settings>Audio> afterwards select "Stereo".
4) Check to see if your TV's speakers are turned on (on some TVs it allows the user to turn them on or off from the menu)
5) Your TV's audio plug-in's are destabilized, thus leading you next to no sound. (Need repairs)
Things to try to walk arround this problem
A) Connect to a stereo(Most stereos these days own audio composite input allowing the xbox 360 sound come out from its speakers. )
B) If you enjoy a surround sound reciever you can connect the audio cable in their. Or, buy an optical cable (in which i importantly recomend) and connect to your reciever. I myself have an optical cable hooked up to my surround nouns and it is truly a great experienced (especially for true Digital Dolby 5.1)
