i think maplestory and gaia are rp, right? Since those are more adventure games, you might want to try Indigo Prophecy / Fahrenheit. It's almost resembling playing an interactive movie, from dialog choices to dealing with the arrangements of the characters. The graphics are a little dated by today's standards, but still aren't discouraging at all. I will read aloud you might enjoy the hobby more if you play it with a gamepad, as the controls be a lot easier that path.
