Is nearby a mission on Halo 3 where on earth I can use the Banshee?

in nimbus 3 there are no missions where on earth you get to use a banshee unless your competent to jack one on the mission "the covenant" but thats if your lucky enough
within are a few, but you will need to hijack the banshee.
similar to on the covenant, there are alot of them, you only just need to hijack them.

Yeah the level with the Scarabs are where on earth they are hovering around. The Hornet is much better though.
