Can i replace my xbox dvd rom drive because my old one keep on saying "to play this disk insert it into an xbox 360 console". If i replace it do i lately plug it into the xbox or do i have to do somthing else next to the xbox dvd rom drive before i attatch it to the xbox 360?

Answers:  It have to be replaced by Microsoft, if you do it yourself without burning the serial code for your Xbox 360 onto the drive, your Xbox 360 will not recognise or read from that DVD drive.
